The free ferry

THIS IS HOLLAND is located in Amsterdam-Noord, just a few minutes from Amsterdam Central Station. Take the free ferry towards Buiksloterweg, disembark and walk to our entrance in approximately four minutes. It could hardly be easier. And honestly, if you are in Amsterdam, this is something you should experience at least once.

By bike

THIS IS HOLLAND is easy to reach by bicycle from the city centre or Amsterdam Central Station. You can hire a bike from MacBike, for example, and receive a free map with suggested routes. You can also take your bicycle on the ferry.

With the train

When you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, take the exit on the IJ side. The ferry is located on your left. A free ferry departs every few minutes from here—take line F3 towards Buiksloterweg to cross the river. Once you arrive, turn left. THIS IS HOLLAND is just a four-minute walk away.

Using a satnav? Enter the address of the A’DAM LOOKOUT car park: Bercylaan 1. THIS IS HOLLAND can be reached via the IJtunnel and the A10 ring road. Due to construction work in the area, access to the car park may be temporarily restricted. Please follow the signs carefully to avoid unnecessary detours.

Touringcars cannot park at THIS IS HOLLAND, but a Kiss & Ride drop-off is available. Touringcars can park at P7 on Mt. Ordinaweg (NDSM).

How long does a visit last?

A visit lasts approximately one hour. The experience consists of four parts: two informative shows about Holland, the 9-minute flight, and the Holland Lounge.

It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended if you want to be sure of experiencing the attraction at a specific time. You can reserve a time slot when purchasing your ticket. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your chosen slot.

For safety reasons, children under 4 years of age and shorter than 100 cm are not permitted to participate in the flight experience.
