The visitor attraction known as THIS IS HOLLAND (TIH), located at Overhoeksplein 51, Amsterdam (the “Attraction”), aims to inspire both residents of the Netherlands and tourists to hold the Netherlands in their hearts forever.
All persons visiting the Attraction are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By purchasing one or more tickets for the Attraction (a “Ticket” or “Tickets”), you confirm to TIH that you accept these Terms and Conditions. Ticket holders are referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “Visitors”.
1. Tickets
1.1 A purchased Ticket is strictly personal and entitles one person to enter the Attraction on one occasion only. Once Visitors have left the Attraction, they must purchase an additional Ticket to re-enter.
1.2 All persons entering the Attraction must hold a valid Ticket. The Ticket must be retained at all times and presented for inspection if requested by a member of staff. Failure to present a valid Ticket upon request may result in removal from the Attraction.
1.3 Group tickets for groups of ten or more may be available at discounted rates (“Group Tickets”). Please see the Groups page at https://www.thisisholland.com/tickets-prijzen/groepstickets for details.
1.4 Where Ticket prices vary according to age, the following provisions apply:
1.4.1 A person aged 13 or over is classified as an adult;
1.4.2 A person aged between 4 and 12 is classified as a child; and
1.4.3 Children under the age of 4 cannot take part in the Experience.

1.6 Once obtained, whether purchased or provided free of charge, Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and invalid if altered. Tickets that TIH reasonably suspects have been transferred or altered will not be accepted. Lost Tickets will not be replaced.
1.7 Tickets provide admission to the Attraction.
1.8 TIH may occasionally issue Tickets as part of special promotions (“Promotional Tickets”). Promotional Tickets are subject to availability and to all Terms and Conditions applicable to the relevant promotion.
1.9 Should you need to cancel a group booking after it has been confirmed, the group leader must notify us immediately. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the visit.
2. Pre-booked Tickets
2.1 Pre-booked Tickets, including Cluster Tickets as defined below, must be presented at the main entrance to the Attraction.
2.2 Anyone wishing to redeem pre-booked Tickets must be able to present the following to the Attraction’s staff:
2.2.1 The booking reference issued when the Tickets were booked; and
2.3 Pre-booked Tickets may not be used in combination with any voucher, promotion or special offer.
3. Children
3.1 Children aged 13 or under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
3.2 The Attraction’s main flight is not suitable for children under the age of 4. TIH reserves the right to refuse access to the main flight to Visitors below the recommended age limit.
3.3 Visitors must be taller than 100 cm to take part in the Flight Experience. The minimum age is 4 years. Visitors over the age of 4 but under the age of 16 who are between 100 and 130 cm tall must be accompanied by an adult Visitor.
4. Health and safety
4.1 Various special effects, including sudden loud effects, may be used in certain visitor areas of the Attraction. Visitors with medical conditions are advised to ask the Attraction’s staff for further information and to follow any advice provided.
4.2 Visitors may not take part in the Flight Experience in any of the following circumstances:
(a) Visitors with back problems and/or conditions;
(b) Visitors with heart-related problems;
(c) Visitors who suffer from a fear of heights;
(d) Visitors who are pregnant;
(e) Visitors who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs;
(f) Visitors who are unable to sit in the Flight Experience independently;
(g) Visitors wearing loose clothing.
4.3 The Attraction’s staff may occasionally draw Visitors’ attention to specific health and safety procedures with which Visitors must comply.
5. Visitor conduct
5.1 Visitors must comply with the following prohibitions while at the Attraction:
5.1.1 No smoking;
5.1.2 No pets or animals. Assistance dogs are welcome, provided that TIH is notified in advance;
5.1.3 No consumption of food or drink without TIH’s express permission;
5.1.4 No offensive weapons;
5.1.5 No entry into any area of the Attraction other than areas designated for Visitor access;
5.1.6 No unnecessary noise, whether from mobile phones, personal audio devices or otherwise, or any behaviour that may annoy or offend other Visitors or intimidate the Attraction’s staff;
5.1.7 No use of illegal drugs or excessive and disruptive consumption of alcohol.
5.2 TIH reserves the right to refuse admission to the Attraction or remove any Visitors who fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
6. Security
6.1 In the interests of safety and security, Visitors may be asked to allow their belongings to be searched. Anyone who refuses to cooperate with such a search, or who is found to be carrying materials considered dangerous by TIH, will be refused admission.
6.2 Visitors must keep their personal belongings with them at all times. TIH accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft of or damage to personal belongings brought into the Attraction.
7. Photography and filming
7.1 TIH or other authorised third parties may occasionally take photographs or make other recordings within the Attraction, and Visitors may appear in such images or recordings. Visitors consent to TIH using these images in connection with advertising, promotional or monitoring activities and acknowledge that copyright in such images belongs to TIH and/or the relevant authorised third party.
7.2 Photography and filming are not permitted during TIH’s shows.
8. TIH’s obligations
8.1 Visitors are reminded that parts of the Attraction may occasionally be closed for maintenance or technical reasons. Tickets will not be refunded and no compensation will be paid in the event of such closures or removals.
8.2 TIH will make every reasonable effort to remain open and operational during its published opening hours. However, TIH reserves the right to close the Attraction on any given day, for safety reasons or for any other reason, without prior notice.
In the event of such a closure, any Tickets issued solely for use on the day of closure will be exchanged or refunded by TIH at the price paid. No further compensation will be provided.

How long does a visit last?
A visit lasts approximately one hour. The experience consists of four parts: two informative shows about Holland, the 9-minute flight, and the Holland Lounge.
Do I need to book a time slot?
It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended if you want to be sure of experiencing the attraction at a specific time. You can reserve a time slot when purchasing your ticket. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your chosen slot.
From what age can children participate in the flight?
For safety reasons, children under 4 years of age and shorter than 100 cm are not permitted to participate in the flight experience.
