What is included in the THIS IS HOLLAND ticket?
Your ticket gives you full access to the entire experience, which consists of:
- Two introductory shows in Dutch with English subtitles, exploring the history, culture and geography of the Netherlands. For visitors who prefer another language, a translation app is available.
- The flight simulation of approximately 9 minutes — the highlight of the visit: soar over Holland’s iconic landscapes with multi-sensory effects including wind, mist and scent.
- The Holland Lounge, where after the flight you can explore extra content: the making-of of the experience and interactive screens with in-depth information about Dutch history and landmarks.
Purchase & Payment
How can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available at the THIS IS HOLLAND front desk or online at thisisholland.com. Buying online at least 12 hours in advance saves you money compared to the door price and guarantees your spot. We recommend booking in advance. We often sell out, especially on weekends and during holiday periods.
Do I need to book a time slot?
It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended if you want to be sure of experiencing the attraction at a specific time. You can reserve a time slot when purchasing your ticket. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your chosen slot.
Can I change the date or time of my ticket?
Yes, you can reschedule your tickets for free. Simply click “Manage your order” in your confirmation email.
Ticket Access & Validity
How long does a visit last?
A visit lasts approximately one hour. The experience consists of four parts: two informative shows about Holland, the 9-minute flight, and the Holland Lounge.
In which language is the experience?
The shows are in Dutch, with subtitles available in English or Dutch. A translation app is also available for other languages. For groups of 20 or more, alternative language audio can be arranged (currently available in Dutch, English or German).
Vouchers (Social Deal, Groupon & similar)
I have a voucher from Social Deal, Groupon or a similar platform. How do I use it?
Great! Your voucher is valid as payment for your ticket. To complete your booking, follow these steps:
- Book your time slot at thisisholland.com, selecting your preferred date and time.
- Bring your voucher on the day of your visit, along with your time slot confirmation.
- At check-in, both documents will be scanned: the voucher as proof of payment and the reservation as confirmation of your time slot.
Without a time slot reservation, entry is not guaranteed even if your voucher is valid. Book in advance, especially on weekends and during peak season.
Without the voucher, access to the experience is not permitted, the voucher is your entry ticket.
Children - Age, requirements & families
From what age can children participate in the flight?
For safety reasons, children under 4 years of age and shorter than 100 cm are not permitted to participate in the flight experience.
What age range applies to the child ticket?
The child ticket applies to visitors aged 4 to 12. From age 13 (and above 130 cm in height), the adult ticket applies.
Can a child aged 4–12 participate alone?
No. Visitors aged 4 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult who sits next to the child on the same bench during the flight. The same applies to visitors between 100 and 130 cm in height, regardless of age.
Can visitors aged 15 and over enter on their own?
Visitors over the age of 15 and taller than 130 cm may enter independently.
What happens if my child is too young or small to participate in the flight?
If a child does not meet the minimum requirements (aged 4 and at least 100 cm tall), they will not be able to participate in the experience for safety reasons. We recommend contacting us in advance at info@thisisholland.com to discuss the options available for your family.
Groups & Special Rates
Are there group rates available?
Yes. THIS IS HOLLAND offers special tickets for groups, school trips and children’s birthday parties with a minimum of 10 participants. Visit the “Group Tickets” section on our website or email info@thisisholland.com for information and quotes.

Can I combine THIS IS HOLLAND with other Amsterdam attractions?

Accessibility & Disability
Is THIS IS HOLLAND accessible for visitors with disabilities?
Absolutely! Visitors with disabilities are very welcome at THIS IS HOLLAND! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please note the following:
- Flight requirements: To participate in the flight experience, the visitor must be able to reach the seat of the attraction and remain seated in a stable position, independently or with the help of a carer.
- Carers: If you are unable to move through the attraction independently, you may bring a carer who enters free of charge. Please book at least 48 hours in advance by emailing info@thisisholland.com, including documentation of your disability.
- Wheelchairs & mobility aids: The attraction is accessible for visitors in wheelchairs or with walkers. Electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters with a maximum width of 90 cm are permitted. A lift is available and staff are on hand to assist.
- Restrooms: An accessible toilet is available on site.
